The women of the WMU group from Bethel Baptist Church in Lake Wylie have been working on several projects. They made more than 345 pillowcase dresses for children in Appalachia and baby kits for the Pregnancy Crisis Center of York County. The kits included hand-crocheted caps, booties, bibs, pacifiers and other baby essentials. The kits are given to clients when they visit the center.
