After reading “The SBC Ship Is in Peril” in the November issue, I agree we are in trouble. That being said, it’s my belief that we still have a God who can turn things around.
What I propose is summarized in a word hardly used anymore: sacrifice.
What would happen if we gave up cable, DirecTV, etc.? How many millions of dollars go to these companies? What would happen if that money instead went to the Southern Baptist Convention?
We are locked in spiritual warfare, and Satan wants us to give up. The question is: Who will win — Satan or Jesus? Have we forgotten that our Lord and Savior, the Ancient of Days, will return soon?
