Joan Jackson Burnett, 69, of Duncan, died Dec. 3, 2015. She was the wife of Gerald W. Burnett, pastor of Care Baptist Church in Spartanburg.

Born April 22, 1946, in Spartanburg, she retired from the National Beta Club after 32 years of service and served as CEO.

Survivors in addition to her husband include three sons and four grandchildren.
