Matt Rogers, pastor of The Church at Cherrydale, located in Greenville, has published a new book, “Mergers,” which describes the process by which two churches can become one for the sake of mission to their community.

Using the real-life example of two churches in Greenville, “Mergers” offers up a description of the rationale, biblical basis, and process by which two churches can unite to more effectively declare and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

“The missionary landscape of the North American culture necessitates that churches, young and old alike, rethink how they can and should align to strategically engage in God’s mission in their cities,” said Rogers.
