William F. “Bill” Lockaby Jr. of Vernon, Vt., formerly of Greenville, died Nov. 12, 2015.

Born in Greenville on Jan. 28, 1954, he graduated from Mars Hill College and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He spent his ministry as a chaplain and as a pastor for several churches in South Carolina.

Survivors include his wife, Lori Damian Lockaby, three sons and two daughters.
