George Raymon Hamer, 84, of Travelers Rest, died Jan. 13, 2016.
A native of Carrollton, Texas, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran of Korea and a retired Southern Baptist pastor, having served at Cross Plains, Cox Chapel, and Lima Baptist churches.
Survivors include his wife, Cleta Ward Hamer, two daughters, six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
