Ronald David Daves, 61, of Columbia, died Dec. 16, 2015.
Born Nov. 22, 1954, in St. Louis, Mo., he was a graduate of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary with a doctor of ministry degree. He was a pastor for more than 31 years and served several churches in South Carolina. His most recent pastorate was at South Lexington Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Karen Kay Stevenson Daves, a son, a daughter and six grandsons. He was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.
