Willie Adolphus Honea, 86, of Liberty, died Feb. 2, 2016, at the Hospice House in Anderson.
Born in Westminster, he was a graduate of Anderson College and later attended Furman University and Erskine College. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was pastor emeritus of Calumet Baptist Church in Liberty, where he served for 25 years. Other churches he served during his 55-year ministry included Corinth in Westminster, New Hope in Seneca, and Six & Twenty in Pendleton. He was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church in Easley.
Survivors include his wife, Betty S. Honea, a daughter, three grandchildren and a great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a son.
