Courier’s Susie Wilkins to retire in May

Susie Wilkins, who has served for 25 years as circulation manager for The Baptist Courier, will retire May 1.

“It’s been a pleasure working with the churches of our state convention and their staff members through the years,” said Wilkins, who joined the Courier staff in April 1991.

Rudy Gray, editor and president of The Courier, described Wilkins as “a devoted and effective part of our team.”

“We will miss her but also pray that her retirement years will be blessed as she and her husband enjoy travel, family and service to Christ together,” Gray said.

Wilkins and her husband, Curt, are members of Earle Street Baptist Church in Greenville. They are the parents of two sons: Michael and his wife, Kelly, who have two sons, Jackson and Carter, and live in Simpsonville; and Jonathan and his wife, Melissa, who live in Moore.
