Carlos Blease Watson, 91, of Simpsonville, died Feb. 22, 2016.

He was a graduate of Furman University and Southeastern Theological Seminary. His pastorates included Selma, Kelleytown and New Hope Baptist churches. He also served as pastoral care minister at Brookwood Community Church. He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Margie Lee Brown Watson, four children, 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
