Hugh Aldrich Burlington Jr., 71, of Cary, N.C., died Feb. 25, 2016.

He graduated from Furman University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and served in ministry at Dunwoody Baptist Church in Atlanta; as Baptist campus minister in Spartanburg; and as pastor at Grassy Pond Baptist Church in Gaffney. He was senior pastor at Immanuel Baptist Church in Greenville, N.C., for the last 22 years of his career.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Vickie Tart Burlington, two children, and five grandchildren.
