Birthright of Columbia, a pro-life emergency pregnancy service, presented Congaree Baptist Church of West Columbia with the Dr. Herbert M. Black Memorial Award Feb. 16.

Janie Pye, WMU director, accepted the award on behalf of the church. Hank Chardos, executive director and cofounder of Birthright, expressed his appreciation for Congaree’s “continued loving dedication and support.”
