Leroy McKinley Sheppard II, 45, of Spartanburg, died April 7, 2016.

He served as youth and children’s minister at the Laotian Baptist Mission, and founded and directed Shepherd’s Door Ministries for over 10 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Spartanburg.

Survivors include his wife, Marlaina Bowen Sheppard, and six children. He was predeceased by an infant child.
