Danny Burnley will retire as pastor of Laurel Baptist Church, Greenville, June 26 and will focus his efforts on assisting churches in need of revitalization. He has founded a non-profit ministry, Church Revitalization Consulting Inc., and will be available to help churches in decline or who “have lost hope over their future growth.” Burnley is the author of “Spiritual Strokes” as well as a forthcoming book, “Excommunicated: 11 Steps to Church Revitalization.” He previously pastored West Gantt First Baptist Church in Greenville, Temple Baptist in Simpsonville and Union Baptist in Iva.
