Ken Jernigan has been called as pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Neeses.

He attended Armstrong State College in Savannah, Ga., and is a graduate of Georgia Baptist Bible Institute. He has pastored churches in Georgia and South Carolina. He had served as interim pastor at Calvary until the church extended the call to him Sept. 11.

He and his wife, Kathy, reside in Round O and have two children and five grandchildren.
