Simpsonville First Baptist calls three new staff members

Simpsonville First Baptist Church recently added three ministers to its staff. Patrick Gillen, minister of youth, previously served churches in Georgia as student pastor and pastor to families. He graduated from Liberty University and received master’s degrees from Liberty and Southeastern Baptist Theological seminaries. He and his wife, Melanie, have two children. Wes Walker, executive pastor of missions and creative arts, came from West Cobb Church in Marietta, Ga., where he served as creative arts pastor since 1994. He attended New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Jana, have five children. Rebekah Warren, assistant minister to students, previously served two summers as an intern in the student ministry at Simpsonville First Baptist. She is a recent graduate of Clemson University.
