Mike Catoe, retired pastor of Mount Arnon Baptist Church in Allendale, has been named pastor emeritus of the church. He served as pastor for more than 31 years.

Wade Ferguson, chairman of deacons, made the announcement and presented Catoe with a plaque to commemorate the occasion.

Catoe and his wife, Sarah, reside in Graniteville.
