Homer Leroy Stewart, 88, of Six Mile, a retired pastor, died Oct. 27, 2016 at AnMed Health in Anderson.

Born in Six Mile, he was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy SeaBees veteran of the Korean War era. He served numerous churches in South Carolina, North Carolina and New York.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce B. Stewart, two sons, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
