Robert G. Norris Jr., 79, of Anderson, died Nov. 28, 2016.

A native of Anderson, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard and worked with Owens Corning Fiberglas for 42 years. After retirement, he worked for Anderson County Solid Waste. He was associate pastor at Mountain Creek Baptist Church, Anderson, where he was also a member.

Survivors include his wife, Rosa Lee Finley, two daughters, one stepdaughter, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Emily Webb Norris, and his second wife, Barbara Dafft, an infant grandson, and two stepchildren.
