William Minor “Bill” Page Jr., 96, of Greenville, died Dec. 15, 2016.

Born in Spartanburg, he served as pastor for 32 years at Friendship Baptist Church, Pauline, and 29 years at Mauldin First Baptist Church, where he was a member for many years. He also held several interim pastorates after retiring from full-time ministry in 1986. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Survivors include two sons, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife of 73 years, Hilda Page.
