Cecil N. Johnson, 76, of Lancaster, died Jan. 3, 2017.

Born in Shelby, N.C., he earned a master of divinity degree from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He pastored churches in North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia, serving the longest at Camp Creek Baptist Church in Lancaster. He was a member of Second Baptist Church, Lancaster, at the time of his death.

Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Carolyn Pitman Johnson, two daughters and two grandsons.
