Mack and Carol Mullis were honored Jan. 8 for 20 years of pastoral ministry at Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Pageland. Only once before in the church’s history has a pastor served for 20 years.

Dan Austin, director of missions for Chesterfield Association, was guest speaker for the day. A tribute was offered by longtime deacon Lindsey Evans, who served on the search committee that brought the Mullis family to Liberty Hill.
