Ron Jackson, chairman of Parson’s Pantry Ministry and pastor emeritus of East Gaffney Baptist Church, was presented the Lifetime Ministry Recognition Award by Covington Theological Seminary on July 27 at the school’s alumni banquet. Jackson, who has been active in ministry for 51 years, was also presented a doctor of divinity degree from Covington at commencement services the next day.
