Nov. 5 is Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church

Nov. 5 has been designated International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church, and Jesse French wants Christians in America to take notice and to pray.

A member of Simpsonville First Baptist Church, French founded Operation Orange Ribbon in May 2015 as a way to raise awareness for the plight of persecuted Christians around the world.

Since then, his orange ribbons have made their way into 83 churches, 15 denominations and nine states.

He is asking individuals and churches to “pray for our persecuted brethren daily and especially Nov. 5” and to wear orange ribbons to bring attention to the cause.

French, who provides the ribbons free of charge, can be reached at 864-982-6111 or scfrench2@aol.com.
