Seminary professor to speak on racial reconciliation at NGU lecture

John Mark Yeats, associate professor of church history at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and College, will speak on racial reconciliation and diversity March 20 at North Greenville University.

Yeats will deliver the school’s second annual College of Christian Studies Lectureship in Theology and Culture. The event, free and open to the public, will begin at 7 p.m. in the Hayes Ministry Center.

The title of Yeats’ address is “Race and the Promise of the Gospel: Why Racial Reconciliation and Diversity in Our Congregations Is a Gospel Mandate.”
