Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Ridge Spring celebrated the life of Iris Wise Cook recently by presenting gifts from her estate to Connie Maxwell Children’s Home ($40,000), world hunger relief ($10,000), and $10,000 each to the following missions offerings: Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong and Janie Chapman.
