Ben Davis, retired president of Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, was the keynote speaker May 5 at Southern Wesleyan University’s graduation ceremony. Davis, pictured with his wife, Polly, was presented an honorary doctor of laws degree. Davis serves as chairman of The Baptist Courier board of trustees and is also chairman of the South Carolina Department of Transportation.
