Claude D. McIntosh, who has served in pastoral ministry for 48 years, retired as pastor of Northwest Baptist Church in Travelers Rest on July 4.

He and his wife, Ann, will continue to live in Travelers Rest, where he plans to remain active in supply preaching and interim pastoral ministry. McIntosh has pastored churches in South Carolina, North Carolina and Florida.

The couple has two adult children.
