James K. Hamilton will retire from Bethel Baptist Church in Laurens on July 15, exactly 45 years after he began his pastoral ministry. He and his wife, Lane, will continue to live in Laurens, where he plans to remain active in supply and interim ministry. Hamilton has pastored churches in South Carolina and Georgia. The couple has three adult children.
