Joe Price, who recently retired as associate pastor after 16 years, was honored during an Aug. 30 morning service at Washington Baptist Church in Greer. The church presented a mandolin and a plaque of appreciation to Price and his wife, Drenda, along with a personal gift. A Greer native, he is a graduate of Clemson University and also studied at Luther Rice Seminary.
