Ringel Heights Baptist Church, Georgetown, has collected shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child for many years. Church member Carol Rogers has taken on this ministry project, encouraging others each year to join her in seeing that children around the world are reached by the gospel and have gifts to enjoy at Christmastime as well. For several years, Ringel Heights’ goal has been growing, but in 2020 Rogers felt led to prepare 2,020 shoeboxes, according to Pastor Kenny Johnson.
