Wassamassaw Baptist Church’s celebration of its 236th homecoming on Nov. 1 included the dedication of a new worship center.

Tom Tucker, a native of Moncks Corner, delivered the message for the dedication. His father served as pastor at Wassamassaw during the late 1950s.

Senior Pastor Norman Rogers conducted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, expressing appreciation for all who contributed with their faithful prayers, hard work, and sacrificial giving.
