Alvin B. O’Shields, 90, of Greer, died Oct. 19, 2021.

Born in Pickens County, he served pastorates in both North and South Carolina. In his later years of ministry, he served as director of missions for Spartanburg County Baptist Association.

Survivors include two children, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ellen Rouda O’Shields.
