FERRUM, Virginia—North Greenville dominated Ferrum 41-10 and remained undefeated on Saturday at W.B. Adams Stadium. Freshman phenom Kam Montgomery finally faced adversity with two interceptions but rebounded well for a solid game. He threw for 206 yards, two touchdowns, and rushed for another 25 yards, the lowest of his season.
Freshman running back Jayden McDowell rushed for 50 yards and a touchdown on just five carries in his season debut. Darius Bailem led the team with three receptions for 71 yards for his best game thus far. NGU’s defense was dominant, forcing five turnovers.
North Greenville (4-0, 1-0) travels to UNC Pembroke on Saturday. Kickoff is 1 p.m.

ANDERSON—The Trojans won their fourth consecutive game on Saturday in dominant fashion at Melvin & Younts Stadium. The win broke the previous winning streak record set at the onset of last season.
Wilson Edwards threw for 353 yards and four touchdowns but also threw his first interception of the year. Lennix Valarie caught three passes for 135 yards in his most productive career game. Darren Lloyd rushed for 144 yards on just 15 carries and scored a touchdown.
Anderson (4-1, 3-0) plays host to Emory and Henry (1-4) at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3.
