TIGERVILLE—The Trailblazers lost their first game of the season in a trying offensive game on Saturday at Younts Stadium. True Freshman Quarterback Kam Montgomery struggled mightily for the first time all year. He completed just 12 of 26 passes for 117 yards, a touchdown, and an interception.
Jonathan Manly led the receiving corps with five catches for 46 yards and a touchdown. Jackson Parrish rushed for 35 yards on just eight carries.

JEFFERSON CITY—Anderson’s offense was forcefully nullified in Saturday’s loss to the Eagles at Burke-Tarr Stadium. Wilson Edwards was sacked four times and threw two interceptions in a forgetful afternoon.
The Eagles offense was highly predictable and efficient on Saturday with just two pass attempts and 49 carries. The carries averaged 5.8 yards per play, which Anderson could barely stop. Carter Wit led the Trojans with a dozen tackles while Scotty Miley forced the only fumble of the day.
Parr Folsom led the Trojans with 74 rushing yards on eight carries, but Darren Lloyd scored the lone Anderson touchdown.
Anderson (4-3, 2-1) will host Catawba on Saturday.
