Johnny and Samantha Lanham were baptized by pastor John Sullivan during homecoming services Oct. 7 at Good Hope Baptist Church in Conway. Rodney Hord preached the homecoming message.

 

Twenty-two North Greenville University students and alumni, along with NGU professor Keeth Willingham, traveled to Ocean City, N.J., over the Thanksgiving break to help with debris removal and offer other assistance in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. The university’s Baptist Student Union partnered with Samaritan’s Purse for the trip. Another student group will travel back to the area over Christmas break, said Jody Jennings, BSU director.

 

The youth group of Clover First Baptist Church worked at Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child processing center in Charlotte Nov. 28, inspecting and loading shoeboxes bound for children across the world.

 

The food ministry team of Spring Hill Baptist Church, Lancaster, is responding to God’s call to serve others by delivering meals every Tuesday to 25-40 people in the community.

 

The children and youth of Shiloh Baptist Church, Marietta, packed 33 shoeboxes to be shipped around the world by Samaritan’s Purse. The church sent a total of 61 boxes.
