More than 250 people gathered for the annual SonRise service at Lake Wateree Baptist Church’s landing to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The annual event, held in conjunction with the African-American congregation of Rock Hill Baptist Church, has continued to grow over the years. The church will begin weekly services outdoors on May 28 at 8:15 a.m.
