Ben DavisBen Davis, president of Connie Maxwell Children’s Home, has been elected to serve as president of the Baptist Child Care Executives for 2006-2007. The organization is the national association of Baptist children’s homes from throughout the country and serves as the coordinating and reciprocal assistance group for these ministries.
BCCE membership is open to the leaders of Baptist state convention-affiliated child care agencies. There are 23 of these ministries which provide service from more than 200 locations nationally and worldwide.
Davis also just concluded a one-year term for 2005-2006 as president of the Southeastern Child Care Association, which is made up of children’s homes, both faith-based and otherwise, from throughout the Southeast. This group is a separate entity from the BCCE, but both hold annual conferences for training and networking.
