CHASTITY BAKER, KAYLA GIBSON, JOSHUA HEFFNER and JESSICA WRIGHT were awarded educational scholarships at First Baptist Church, Great Falls, during morning worship July 2. The scholarships are made possible from the combined totals of two educational school funds established by the families of former church members. The John and Lula Howard Scholarship fund was established in 1977 by Edith Gunter in memory of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Howard. The family of Charlie Martin established the Charlie Martin Educational Fund in 1985 through the Baptist Foundation. The Howards and Martin were longtime members of Great Falls. Gregg Batchelor is pastor of First Baptist Church.
