Thomas William Gossett, 68, of Cowpens, retired pastor, died March 14.
Born in Cowpens, he was an active member of Northbrook Baptist Church.
He graduated from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and Covington Theological Seminary. Over a period of 32 years, he was pastor of churches in North and South Carolina, including Mt. Tabor in Westminster.
Retiring from the ministry in 2000, Gossett began his second career when he joined the staff of Seawright Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Eula Mae Blackwell Gossett, two children, and two “favorite red-headed grandchildren.”
