I was a Baptist for 60 years and have been a Mason for the past 43, and have never found anything that would in any way conflict with my being a Christian. My Bible is the same as Mr. Cromer’s (letter in May 17 Baptist Courier). Were it not for our forefathers who were Masons, he wouldn’t be able to read that Bible or attend the church that he attends.
Editor’s Note: Recent editions of the Courier have carried letters expressing opinions favorable to, and critical of, Freemasonry. The Courier believes that both viewpoints have been given adequate attention and no further letters on this issue will be published. – Editor
