Tracy IvesterTRACY IVESTER has been called as pastor of Mountain Springs Baptist Church, Piedmont. A native of Anderson, he is a graduate of Clemson University and Southern Baptist Seminary. He has been in pastoral ministry for 14 years, serving churches in Kentucky, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. Ivester and his wife Julie have four children: Taylor, 12; Jorda, 11; and twin daughters Grace and Sarah, 9.
Bobby James Jr.BOBBY JAMES JR. is the new pastor of Wateree Baptist Church, Camden. Wateree will be his first pastorate. A graduate of Tri-County Tech, Anderson University and New Orleans Baptist Seminary, he served as the youth Bible study teacher at Orrville Baptist Church, Anderson, where he was ordained and licensed. James and his wife Stephanie have two children, Heather, 2, and Seth, 1.
JUDY FOWLER has retired after 20 years as music director of Second Baptist Church, Laurens. The church honored her with a luncheon, a money tree, a plaque, a gift and cards. She will live in Union with her parents.
