Chaplain James Stevens of Laurens County Speedway and Racing for the Cross Ministries presents the Faster Pastor plaque to Chris Garrison, pastor of Union Baptist Church, who won the Faster Pastor II race at the Laurens County Speedway. Seven pastors participated in the Aug. 25 race, which consisted of 15 laps. Others finishing were (2nd) Tony Crouch, Chestnut Ridge Baptist; (3rd) Monty Osborne, 2nd Baptist Laurens; (4th) Bryant Sims, 1st Mt. Moriah Baptist; (5th) James Stevens, Welcome Baptist; (6th) Robert Dorn, Bethabara Baptist; and (7th) Ronnie Blackwell, Northside Baptist.
