Allendale-Hampton Baptist Association will hold its fifth annual wild game banquet Oct. 18 at 7 p.m.

The event, to be held at the old Embler Door plant in Varnville, will feature John “Bull” Bramlett of Cordova, Tenn. An All-American Football Foundation Hall of Fame member, Bramlett played professionally for 12 years with the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons. He also played professional baseball for the St. Louis Cardinals.

Numerous door prizes will be offered at the supper, which will feature fried gator, venison, frog legs, wild hog, turkey and quail. Last year, more than 1,500 people attended. At the previous four events, nearly 350 men accepted Christ, reported coordinator Wade Freeman, a member of First Baptist Church, Varnville.
