Jerry LewisJERRY LEWIS was called as pastor of Union Baptist Church, Elgin, July 29. A graduate of Covington Seminary, Lewis previously served churches in Camden and Lugoff. He and his wife Wanda, an elementary school teacher, have three adult children: Jeremy, Justin and Grace.
Ben WalkerBEN WALKER is the new pastor at Piney Forest Baptist Church, Andrews. He and his wife Sharon moved from Poplar Spring Baptist Church, Iva, where he had been serving as interim pastor for the past year. Other South Carolina Baptist churches Walker has served in the past 20 years include Broadmouth, Honea Path; Corinth, Seneca; Riverside, Anderson; and Good Shepherd, Manning.
MICHAEL PARTRIDGE has been called as minister of music by First Baptist Church, Cayce. He has previously served at Cayce First and at Bayview Baptist Church, Columbia. He is a graduate of USC, and attended Erskine Seminary, Due West, and Reformed Seminary, Charlotte. He is on the faculty of Southern Wesleyan University and has taught at Midlands and Central Carolina technical colleges.
