Hugh Chandler Fortson, 86, of Greenwood, a retired Baptist pastor, died Oct. 29, 2007.
He retired in 1986 after several years in the ministry at Victory Baptist Church in Moncks Corner. He continued to serve as interim pastor of several churches and was a former senior adult minister at West Side Baptist Church in Greenwood.
Survivors include his wife, Laura Sargent Fortson, and three children.
