December was a busy month for the congregation of Beaver Creek Baptist Church, Neeses. Both young and old joined for the church’s annual Christmas caroling at the homes of their homebound members, followed by food and fellowship provided by pastor Jimmy Brown. The adult Sunday school class visited the Billy Graham Library and Museum in Charlotte, and the congregation enjoyed Beaver Creek’s Christmas play, “O Come All Ye Faithful,” which highlighted the origin of many Christmas carols.
