Having just finished serving as worship leader for the convention recently concluded in Florence, I would like to say thanks for the opportunity. It is always a pleasure to lead worship of our Savior in any setting and was indeed an honor to do so at the convention.
We as South Carolina Baptists are very blessed in so many ways, and I would like to say a special “thanks” to those who serve faithfully at the Baptist Building. Seeing things from “behind the scenes” really emphasized what I already knew – that these men and women are dedicated professionals who take the work for the kingdom of God very seriously. These are men and women of such caliber they could easily be found in a more rewarding career, financially speaking, but have chosen to serve God and South Carolina Baptists.
In an age where there seems to be so many avenues for criticism, I, for one, choose instead to try to encourage – so thanks to all who work at the Baptist Building, and keep up the good work!
