BRIAN SELF has been called as pastor by Ebenezer Baptist Church, Orangeburg-Calhoun Baptist Association. A native of Rock Hill, he was previously pastor at Open Bible Baptist Church, Clover. Self and his wife Michelle have two sons, Dustin and Joshua.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Michael King

MICHAEL KING will begin duties Feb. 8 as pastor of Cedar Shoals Baptist, Belton. He previously pastored Providence Baptist Church, Anderson, for 10 years. He currently is working toward a master’s degree in theology through Master’s International School of Divinity. His bachelor’s studies were through the Southern Baptist extension department and the Southern Baptist School for Biblical Studies in Jacksonville, Fla. King and his wife Sue have two adult children, Mac and Haley.

 

 

 

 

 

 

JOHN HUCKABY is serving as pastor of Ridgeland Baptist Church, Savannah River Baptist Association. He began duties in August 2007. Previously, he was pastor of New Prospect Baptist, Laurens. He and his wife Jean have two adult children, Rob and Paula.

 

Charlie Barnett

CHARLIE BARNETT has been called as pastor by Secona Baptist Church, Pickens. Barnett previously served as associate pastor of discipleship and missions at Berea First Baptist Church, Greenville. He and his wife Julie have two children – a daughter, Jessie, 13; and a son, Jonah, 10.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ed Morgan

ED MORGAN has been called as pastor by Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Beaufort. Morgan and his wife Ethel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Jan. 4.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

CHARLES CAUTHEN began duties Jan. 2 as interim pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, Chesterfield Baptist Association. He has served pastorates for 35 years in North and South Carolina.

 

RUTH KIRKLEY, a member of Beauford Baptist Church, McBee, reached her goal of 25 years of perfect attendance Sept. 30, 2007.
