SCBC releases May CP giving report

Cooperative Program gifts from churches forwarded to the South Carolina Baptist Convention were 2.61 percent behind budgeted needs through May.

In May, churches sent $2,220,729 in CP gifts, according to information released by Pam Carroll, the SCBC’s chief financial officer. Receipts for the year were $310,467 short of budgeted needs of $11,875,000.

At the national level, year-to-date contributions to Southern Baptist Convention missions and ministries were 1.37 percent less than the SBC Cooperative Program Allocation Budget goal.
